New Years Eve this year we stayed in...We watched Arthur and the Invisibles and Journey to the Center of the Earth, ate soup and fresh baked cookies and sat by a warm fire. Carson was sick for the night, but all three boys made it to 2009 (Casey fell asleep about 11:15.)

Christmas Day we spent the morning at home then went to BB and Pa's (Terry and Bev's). We had a full day of food (Prime Rib and trimmings) and presents and naps! In fact, Terry and I each got two kids and slept for nearly 2 hours in recliners...What peace!

Christmas eve was spent at Mimi and Pop's (Fred and Kathy's). The kids had lots of presents, we had lots of food and fellowship with family and friends. Christmas is definitely more fun with little ones around!

Christmas in the Cooper household is a flurry of activity. However, on one blister December evening, we sat around the fire, read about the birth of Jesus, played games and sang carols. We had a few moments of peace and good tidings before the kids started killing each other again!

Oooohhhh! You better watch out...You better not cry...You better not pout...I'm tellin you why...Cause where in a recession and if you are the one crying and pouting then you're going to be the one not getting presents!!!!

We had a lot of fun at Cookies and Milk with the Elves and Santa at church Friday night! The requests from Santa were very strange though! Where are we going to keep real reindeer?

It is amazing how fast these kids are growing...It seems like just yesterday Casey was born...or we were in the NICU with Connor. Casey is saying so many words. "Hewo", "Nite Nite", and our favorite "STOOOOOOOOOP!" when her brothers are messing with her.

Thanksgiving was a hoot with all the family at our house. The kids have been great and are ready for Christmas now. We began a new tradition of carving Thanksgiving pumpkins.

Village Creek Nov 2008

The Coopers and Culwells went to Village Creek State on Veterans Day weekend. We hikrd, made smores, rode bikes and climbed trees. Overall we had a great weekend with highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s. Clay was sick and slept in his car, or at least tried. We had great food, fun and made lots of family memories. The boys favorite part was exploring the woods below the camper.

The boys went to Sesame Street Live and got to greet Zoe and Abby. They enjoyed the cookies and milk and were exceptionally good!!!

We had lots of launches at our pool this summer. One of the kid's favorite past times is swimming and they love for daddy to "launch" them. Even Casey is smiling as she rockets out of the pool.

It is very nice to have all 4 swimming so well that we can actually not be scared to get them all in the pool.

Minnie and Mickey greeted us at Walt Disney World on September 13, 2008. We had a great time and really enjoyed getting to take the kids on their first visit there. All of them enjoyed the trip and are already asking when we are going back.

With the exception of some touch up paint, the kitchen is complete!!!! It is nice to begin to see some nomality around the house. It is also going to be nice to reclaim the garage again. Let's eat!

Thanks Derek for helping with the demo and Clay for helping with the demo and crown molding and to all the grandparents for helping with the kiddos!

Wish we were fishin!!!!

Through all the house remodeling, we really miss the river/lake! By the looks of this pic, I would say there were not many fish caught, but I bet we had lots of laughs!!!!

The kids received caterpillars, which magically changed into butterflies. It was a great learning experience and just one more notch for mommy in her science lessons over the summer. We had 3 pretty ladies that are now free and flying around 38119...

The kitchen is almost done!!!! We are awaiting counter-tops, which should be in this week. Christy has done a great job of cooking in the camper and keeping everyone safe! We will be having a "shin-dig" when all the work is complete...

Thanks to the grandparents as well for helping with keeping the kids and with dinners as we completed the work!

Opening Entry...

Good evening...or should I say "Good Morning!"

Once upon a time, I kept up a web page for our family. This was when we had one child and a 40 hour per week job. Times have changed, as has the number of car seats in our car!

In an effort to share our immediate family lives with our loved ones, I am creating this blog were we will share funny stories, pictures and special memories. If you have a request for details, please let me know...
